Cross Wheels in CFB 27: Ohio State Setup and Reads

Yo, what's up you guys? So the first play we're going to go over is cross wheels. This is going to be a very popular route combo. Tight end drag, post behind it, running back streak. That's going to be a good route combo in any Madden or any college football game. So let's show it versus match. So it's going to be a very common defense that you go against and all you're going to do is you're going to streak your slot receiver. So that's going to be triangle and that's what the player should look like and against match. How I like to read this play is I really like to read the left side first. So I'm reading the left side and then I'm coming back over to the right. reason being is this flat this wheel match the principles will not go out on that wheel on it with a stack so that those are stacked receivers so you'll see this wheel is wide open just throw it you don't even have to click on and green It was wide open, so you see it wide open against match easy 15 yards, so Let's say they man up that receiver then now you're gonna have this So you have you have this drag you have the That's gonna get open that's gonna go against the three rec From the middle linebacker and then what's gonna happen when they man up this guy is you you would get a one-on-one with Jeremiah Smith to be able to Pass it a streak for a touchdown so Might be able to show that here, but you can see that this play is just deadly against match You have every route at your disposal on this play. So all you're doing is streaking the slot making your reads one thing about the wheel is you don't want to throw it late that's why you want to look to it first so that when you see it poke out and be open you immediately throw it so seeing it immediately throw it so that's against match gonna be the same thing against every defense with this play you're going to be going left to right so let's go ahead just regular Cover 2 and Cover 2 you're going to be wanting to look so there you have the wheel route again you could throw that off the snap like right there through it a little too early or just like that nice little flat basically and then you're gonna have this running back streak the thing with Cover 2 is Cover 2 you place really soft because it can give up streaks so if someone is playing soft you're gonna want to hit your check downs and if they shade down then you can hit this streak easy click on So super simple play you're just gonna be going left to right with your reads and the setup you're just gonna call the macro you're gonna come out in the macro and then immediately put a streak so on triangle right there easy setup
